Our Back To School Edit

Where did the summer go? Literally in a flash, summer is almost over. And while we sometimes wish summer could last forever (especially here in New England), there is an excitement about back to school that we can't ignore. Especially when it comes to back to school shopping! 

We've rounded up some of our favorite back to school styles to help inspire your little one's fresh fall looks. From backpacks, to notebooks and pencils, to cool new outfits - and all sustainably made - we have it in store for you. 

Let's start with backpacks! The trends we are seeing are faux fur, animal print and color blocking. Some of our favorite backpacks are from the Scandinavian brands: Molo from Denmark and Sticky Lemon and Studio Ditte from The Netherlands. What's great about these backpacks is that they're not only stylish but they are also super roomy, durable, and sustainably made from recycled PET bottles and recycled polyester.

Next up: all the backpack essentials!  We are obsessing over Lund London's animal shaped water bottles. Perfect for little hands and keeps drinks cold or hot. And for some unordinary otherwise ordinary school supplies we love Mr Boddington's studio and the Penny Paper Co!

When it comes to back to school outfits, comfort is key - and comfy clothes is our middle name! Of course never at the expense of chic style. Hands down some of our favorite brands include Gray Label, Molo, and Bellerose.

Gray Label is a brand from The Netherlands and offers sizes from newborn through 11 years. The entire collection is made from insanely soft organic cotton fleece that can go straight from the playground to the washer and drier, on repeat. Much of the collection is gender neutral so styles can easily be passed down to younger brothers and sisters. Cozy and quality factors are an A+, allowing school kids to move and play freely without worrying about ruining their clothes.

Check out Molo - one of our all time favorites for cool children and teen fashion. The collection starts at baby and covers the kiddos all the way up to the teen years. Molo's commitment to ethically and sustainably made clothing improves year after year. Much of their collection is made from GOTS certified organic cotton and/or recycled materials. Their graphics are super cool and kids just really gravitate to them!

And for the style-conscious teens we are really loving Bellerose. The styles are classic with a bit of urban edge. This season, we are seeing some edgy plaid and leopard prints combined with softer more neutral tones.
